Above: Part of a c70 strong herd of Whooper Swan at Sand Villa, Over Wyre, Lancs - 9th Feb 2009.These three superb Greenland White-Fronts were the pick of todays Geese for me in several very enjoyable hours spent in the Pilling area. Other birds seen included 2 Short-eared Owl on Bradshaw Lane.
