An eight hour session on the local patch with highlights being the continued presence of the juv Garganey, female Scaup (above), 3ad Whooper Swan briefly but chased off by the damned Mute Swans, c200 Pink-footed Geese which for a while looked as though they might touch down on No1 Pit, but actually landed somewhere just to the north of Boilton Wood (!), juv Peregrine, f/imm Merlin > S, a Water Rail and c150 Redwing.
