The second Greater Scaup at the site in the past ten days. The previous record before Autumn 2008 being one in Nov 2006.Nine adult Whooper Swan present on No1 Pit from at least 13:30-14:30 when all flew north are probably the same nine that were present on Alston Reservoirs, Longridge until 11:30 when all flew west. Another, single adult flew in at 15:30 remaining until dusk.
